Morning Ritual: To Start Your Day Calm and Stay Well, Try This Mindful Exercise
Since we're now well into January and the promise of a new start is behind us, the stress of getting all our work done is threatening to derail our commitment to healthy habits, the ones we just promised ourselves to achieve at the start of the New Year. For that reason, we're suggesting a simple way to upgrade your morning routine and set yourself up for more peaceful, stress-free days that put you in control of your emotional and physical journey. So instead of waking up with a nagging to-do list that sets the tone of your mental outlook, or letting the chaos of the world derail our health goals, it's time to be proactive and start each morning with a brief meditation wherein we set our intentions to ourselves and others. It's simple, quick, and easy; you just need to decide that it's a priority.

Our favorite way to build a more meaningful morning routine is to sit still for a brief mindful session of thought and reflection: Ask yourself: What do you want to accomplish today?
