Häagen Dazs Non-Dairy Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream

|Updated Feb 23, 2022

Despite the fact that there aren’t any milk substitutes in Häagen Dazs’ version of vegan ice cream, it tastes as rich and creamy as the original. The peanut butter is smooth and the chocolate fudge isn’t cloyingly sweet. This overall winner (for its flavor category) was the most like the real thing, and everyone went crazy for it.

Quick health facts: While a serving does have 14 grams of fat and 290 calories, it also has 4 grams of protein, which is higher than some of the other flavors we tested.

Where to find it: Any grocery store. And at around $4 a pint, it’s slightly cheaper than its competitors.

Editor's Take

Why is it that the best tasting ones are also the highest in carbs? This overall winner (for its flavor category) was the most like the real thing, and everyone went crazy for it. The chunks of fudge were epic. Then we checked the label and realized there was a reason the kids were bouncing off the floor with a sugar high. With 36 grams of carbs per serving, it's a special treat indeed!
